L-Ascorbic Acid-99.9% (Micro Granule)

L-VITA C (ascorbic acid) is an essential dietary ingredient for fish, prawns, and shrimp. Fish, prawns, and shrimp are unable to biosynthesize Vitamin C. L-VITA C holds 99.9% of coated L-Ascorbic Acid. This product is about 100% of Vitamin C, which is also known as Ascorbic Acid.

L-VITA C has also been linked to improving immune response, hormone production, mineral absorption and metabolism, and plays an important role in shell development and protein metabolism of prawn and shrimp. L-VITA C has also been shown to help detoxification of toxins, chemicals, pesticides and drugs.

Deficiency of ascorbic acid in the diet of prawn and shrimp results in reduced feed intake, poor conversion of food and protein, high incidence of post-molt deaths, dystrophy of muscle and hepatopancreas, blackening of gills, and in extreme cases black death disease, whitened or blackened lesions and high rates of mortality.

In prawn and shrimp, vitamin C deficiency led to the inhibition of alkaline phosphatase activity resulting in poor chitin synthesis and sclerotization of the epicuticle.

L-VITA C improves larval natural movement, immunity, optimizes digestive competence and induces regular molting. Thus, it confirms satisfactory growth with a high survival rate. This product is able to remove chlorine from water. No side effects have been recorded when the product is used in water to neutralize chlorine.

DOSAGE:
Regular usage as stress reliever & to boost immune systems: 0.5-1.5ppm.
Feeding Method: 1-2gm per kg of feed.
To chlorine-free from water: 1-2.5ppm.

This product is projected to use in the improvement of fish, shrimp and, crab aquaculture hatchery only.
